Inspection Templates are used to define Full and Partial Inspections, sequence all the items that need to be performed during a given inspection, and associate the Inspection to Assets.
The Browse page displays a list of records and different options to filter them by.
The Search for filter is designed to retrieve values from the ID and Description fields on the records. To execute the search, click the Go button.
The Active filter is designed to show only Active, Inactive or All records in the system. This dropdown automatically updates the page.
To display the full list of records, click the Reset Filter icon.
Add Inspection Templates
To create an Inspection Template, click the Add New icon. Fill in all required fields and any additional information.
When you are finished, click the Save button.
Edit Inspection Templates
Saving a new Inspection Template will open the Edit page. You can also modify an Inspection Template by clicking the Edit icon on the Browse page. You will notice that the Edit page contains additional tabs.
Template Lines Tab
The Template Lines tab provides a section used to explain the tasks involved. Each task is numbered sequentially in order to show the number of steps being taken.
Add Template Lines
To create an Inspection Template Line, click the Add New icon. Fill in all required fields and any additional information.
Associated Equipment Tab
On the Associated Equipment tab, all equipment that is associated to the Inspection Template can be viewed.
To add new equipment to the Inspection Template, click the Add New icon.
You will be brought to the Add Associated Equipment page.
Fill in all required information, then click the Save button.
